Thank you for helping preserve my fathers many works

Greetings Family,

When my father took his final walk, he left a profound void in all our lives. Everything I am—my passions, my vision, and the people I hold dear—I owe to him. His lessons continue to guide me, offering new insights every time I reflect on them.

As we enter this new era, I’ve found a way to honor my roots at the Tracker School and Pine Barrens Primitive Camp while advancing my own work. Years ago, I saved a box of my father’s original field guide illustrations, drawn by my sister Kelley and annotated in his handwriting. This treasure inspired the Field Guide Illustration Auction.

About the Auction:

  • 50% of proceeds will support the Tracker School and Pine Barrens Primitive Camp.

  • The remaining 50% will fund my work, including creating a Digital Museum of Tracker School History, a free resource showcasing decades of memorabilia in an interactive timeline.

How It Works:

  1. Weekly Auctions: Auctions will run every week for the next several months. Illustrations are priced based on their content, the amount of my father’s handwritten notes, and other factors.

  2. Auction Schedule: Auctions begin every Monday at 11 AM Pacific and close every Friday at 11 AM Pacific.

  3. Bidding Process: Each item will have an opening bid. To bid, click the "Place Bid" button on the website. This will open an email window. Include your name, the illustration you’re bidding on, and your bid amount.

  4. Bid Updates: I will update the current bid price on the website as soon as a bid is received.

  5. Winning Bids: When the auction ends on Fridays at 11 AM Pacific, I will notify the winners.

  6. Make an Offer Phase: Unsold items move into a "Make an Offer" phase from Friday 11 AM to the following Monday 11 AM. During this time, you can submit an offer by clicking the "Make an Offer" button. I’ll email you back to confirm if the offer is accepted.

  7. Rotating Items: Illustrations will change weekly, and I may add other unique items to the auctions in the future.

This is not just an opportunity to own a piece of history but also a way to support the Tracker School and my efforts as we both move into a new era.

“The Steam Pit”

The “Double Figure 4 Trap”

Out of all the Illustrations This one is My absolute favorite because I scan them at a lower quality to prevent piracy. It's hard to make out all the fine details that are in this illustration once you get it in your hands.
